STEEVES, MARILYN - 1941 - 2014 - Marilyn Vivian Steeves, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at the age of 73. Born in Killams Mills, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Violet Steeves. Marilyn will be sadly survived by her husband Gerald of 52 years, son Douglas of Kinnear Settlement, daughter Sandra of Peace River, Alberta, son David (Diane) of Sussex, grandchildren; Brian, Janna, Amanda, and Matthew, siblings; Late Leota (Clelland) McConnell, Doreen (Donald) Ogilvie, Graham Steeves (Katherine), Connie (Walter) Alward, Philip (Lynn) Steeves, Ronald (Hazel) Steeves, Beverly (Donald) Harper, Deverne (Dorine) Steeves, and Lynton Steeves, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Marilyn was predeceased by sister-in-law Judy, and by nephew David.
Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 11:00 am. The family would like to thank Dr. Morton and the staff at The Moncton Hospital for their care and compassion. A reception will follow in the Garden View Room. Interment will be at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. The family would appreciate donations to a charity of the donor’s choice.
