Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on Thursday, December 11, 2014 Clara Rose Thompson, age 83 years. Predeceased by her husband Gordon in 2010. Leaving to mourn are her family of nieces, nephews and cousins from the Sharpe and Thompson families; also her special extended family of friends, neighbors and staff at Masonic Park. The family would like to thank them all for their amazing support and kindness shown to Rose during her illness. The family would also like to thank the staff at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Center and the Health Sciences Complex for their exceptional care given to Rose during her short illness. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service to be held at Barrett's Chapel on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. No flowers by request.
