Hudgins, Joan Grace passed away peacefully on December 12, 2014 at the Mira Long Term Care Centre, Truro. Born Jan 31, 1933 in Hamilton, Ontario she was the daughter of the late Charles and Pansy (Bannister) Tournay. Joan came to Nova Scotia as a Registered Nurse with the VON. Music was her first love and for many years she taught music in local area Elementary schools. She is survived by husband Ralph, children Judy, Janet, and Greg, granddaughter Jennifer, and sisters Anne and Audrey. We would like to thank the wonderful staff of The Mira in Truro for their comfort and care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the IWK Children's Hospital, to the support of a children's music program, or to a charity of your choice. Cremation has taken place.
