CARR, WILLIAM “BILL” GRANT – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of William “Bill” Grant Carr which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, December 12th, 2014. Born 1947, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Joe and Margaret (Coyle) Comeau. In his earlier years, Bill worked for the Saint John Shipbuilding. He later became a contractor with NB Power – Coleson Cove. Bill is survived by his loving wife Deborah (Sherman) of 34 years; daughters Brianna Beebe (Chad) of Ontario, Samantha Ross (Joseph) of Grove Hill, NB, Twyla Carr of Rothesay as well as two children from a previous marriage; brothers Robert Carr and Edgar Comeau (Brenda) of Saint John; sister Carol Comeau of Alberta; grandchildren Gavin Ross and Ellie Beebe; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Saturday, December 13th from 6 to 8 p.m. A celebration of Bill’s life will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, December 14th at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
