Passed peacefully away on Friday, December 12th, 2014 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Gladys Pidgeon, age 97 years. Predeceased by her husband Ernie, parents: Priscilla and Bertrum Elliott, sisters: Eliza Elliott, Dora Field, Edith Field and Eyvonne Elliott, brother, Oswald Elliott, brothers-in-law: Herbert Field and Lewis Decker. Leaving to mourn sisters: Melvina Decker and Rachel Jones (Allen); brothers: Caleb Elliott (Cornelia deceased) and Amos Elliott (Faye); sister-in-law Emma Elliott; brother-in-law, Wesley Field; special niece, Joyce Porter (Bill); as well many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, December 14th. Funeral service to take place on Monday, December 15th, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel, with cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place on Tuesday, December 16th, at 11:30 a.m. at the Columbarium, at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
