DOW, LOUISE WINNIFRED - Louise W. Dow of Dow Settlement, NB passed away December 13, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Louise was born at Youngs Cove Road, NB in 1928, a daughter of the late Myles and Helen (Ferris) Fowler. She was a member of the Dow Settlement Baptist Church and an avid follower of the political scene in NB. She is survived by a son, Beverly Dow (Deborah), Noonan, NB; a daughter, Marie Bolton (Jim), Dow Settlement, NB; four grandchildren, Chad Bolton (Amanda), Cody Bolton, Kit Bolton and David Dow; a brother, Beverly Fowler (Ruth), Fredericton, NB; a sister, Evelyn Short (Ray), Moncton, NB; a sister-in-law, Rowena Dow and a brother-in-law, Carrol Lewis Dow (Carolyn); several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Dennis Dow in 2010; an infant son, Richard and her step-mother, Helen Fowler.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Dow Settlement Baptist Church, Dow Settlement, NB on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Amanda Henderson-Bolton and Rev. Dr. Peter Sherwood officiating. Interment at Upper Meductic Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Louise, the family has suggested the Upper Meductic Cemetery or the Fredericton Community Services (Food Bank).
