Juba: Edward William Juba was Born in Willow Brook, Saskatchewan on May 27,1934 and passed away on December 8,2014. at the Swift Current Care Centre. Ed Juba of Swift Current,Saskatchewan.Ed was predeceased by his father William, his mother Katie, his 4 brothers, Alex, Andy, Steve and Jim, his sister Annie and by his wife of 27 years Dorette Kay Juba. Ed moved to Swift Current in 1969 and had a successful career as manager of the "Co-op plumbing & heating".Ed and his wife Kay had 4 children: Delbert, Darlene, Brenda, and Richard. For the past 8 years dad spent his time with his best friend Barb Kullman. Barb & Ed enjoyed camping boating, fishing and socializing with friends and neighbors. During his time at the Swift Current Care Center, Barb was his constant companion which made every day fun and enjoyable. Ed will be missed by his 4 children, 5 grandchildren (Kaitlyn, Maria,Oden, Brandon and Brenda) and his most special friend Barb . A Funeral Mass was held at Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. from Christ The Redeemer Catholic Church, Swift Current, SK, with father Richard Jasik MSF officiating and the pianist was Yoland Gorrill and the readers were Oden Juba, Kaitlyn Juba and Brodie Fliss and the pallbearers were Oden Juba, Kaitlyn Juba, Maria Juba and Dave Kenting. The Interment service will be held at the Memory Gardens Cemetery ,Swift Current,Saskatchewan at a later date.in Ed's Memory donation may be made to the Swift Current Care Care Auxiliary 700 Aberdeen Street East Swift Current, Saskatchewan S9H 3E3.
