Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, December 13, 2014 of Ruth Statts, of Charlottetown and formerly of Westmoreland, age 92 years.
Wife of the late Stanley Statts. Lovng mother of Elizabeth Statts (Lawrence Campbell), Jim Statts (Linda) and Nancy Gormley. Grandmother of David and Andrew Gormley and Hilary, Josh and Katie Statts. Great-grandmother of Ben Statts. Sister of Verna Besley. Sister-in-law of Patricia and Peg Gallant and Bill MacFarlane.
Predeceased by her parents, Abraham and Lucy Jane Gallant; sisters, Elizabeth (Dick) MacDonald, Marge Wheatley, Mary (Bill) Harvey, Jean MacFarlane; and brothers, Jack, Bert (Frances) and Roy Gallant.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Thursday from North Tryon Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. If so desired, memorials to the North Tryon Presbyterian Church Cemetery or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 3-6 p.m.
