Passed peacefully away on Sunday, December 14, 2014, Marie Power, aged 89 years. Predeceased by her parents James and Teresa Bindon; brothers Andrew, Jimmy, Tom and John Bindon; brother-in-law Joseph Doyle; sister-in-law Winnie Bindon; nephew Tom Doyle. Leaving to mourn husband Cyril; children David (Bonny), Robert (Dave Philpott), and Maureen (Herb) Sexton; grandchildren Jennifer (Jason) Wiesen, Valerie Power, and Kate Sexton; great-grandchildren Emma and Thomas Wiesen; sisters Louise Doyle and Winnie (Jim) Carew; nieces and nephews Wynanne, Jim and Tom Bindon, Jim Carew, Maria Reynolds, Maureen McCarthy and Alan Doyle; sister-in-law Dot Power; brothers-in-law Bill (Geraldine) Power, John (Carmel) Power, Gerald (Carmel) Power, Robert (Anna) Power and all their families. Also leaving to mourn a wide circle of extended family, friends and caregivers. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from Wednesday December 17 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday December 19, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica.
