The death occurred peacefully at Beach Grove Home on Monday, December 15, 2014 of Mr. Robert H. "Bobby" Smith of Hunter River, in his 88th year.
Beloved father of Reudy (Paulette) Smith, Cornwall, and Kent (Elaine) Smith, Hunter River. Loving grampy to Brad (Laura) Smith, Grande Prairie, AB, Stephen (Kim) Smith, Charlottetown, Lori Smith, Lower Sackville, N.S., Michelle (Peter) Florence, Edmonton, AB, Ryan (Melissa) Smith, Ottawa, ON, and Jana (Morgan) Sears, Hunter River, and great-grampy to Liam Smith and Austin Harrison, Grande Prairie, AB, Kayla Nordoff, Charlottetown, Isak and Greta Florence, Edmonton, AB, Oren and Adler Smith, Ottawa, ON. He is also survived by brother, Clayton (Jeanette) Smith, Riverview, N.B.; sister, Bertha (Richard) Fillmore, Sackville, N.B.; and sister-in-law, Rosemary Smith, Moncton, N.B.; many nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Robert L. and Bertha (Spence) Smith; brother, Manson Smith; and nephew, Douglas Smith.
Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Thursday, December 18, 2014, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service from Hunter River Presbyterian Church on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in Hunter River Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
