MORIARTY, MARY ADELINE - Mary Adeline Moriarty, loving wife of Charles Moriarty passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1940 in St. Michael Settlement, NB she was the daughter of the late Henry and Gladys Guitard. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers Clarence and Joe and sister Doris Dempster. Adeline was known for her homemade bread and rolls. She loved playing cards and watching her favorite show “Heartland”. Her home was open to everyone and enjoyed being a mother to many neighbourhood children. She will be always remembered for her kindness. Besides her husband Charles, she is survived by her devoted children Lucy LeBlanc (Ralph “Will” Nairn), Tim Moriarty (Sam), Lorraine Moriarty (Vic), Brenda Moriarty (Jeff), Mary Anne Moriarty (John) and Danny Moriarty; cherished grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; sisters Eunice Patterson (Bob) and Theresa Beechin; several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 1 p.m. Remembrances in memory of Adeline may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice. www.fundyfuneralhome.com
