Spencer, Dell Othilda, 82, Glenholme, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Goldboro, Guys. Co., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Blair) Myers. Dell worked as an accountant clerk for Moffatt Brothers. She was a member of the Erskine United Church, Glenholme where she sang for many years in the choir. She was a life member of the U.C.W. and a member of the Princess Mary A.C.W.
She is survived by her brother Philip of Truro; step-children Debbie and Danny; special friends Marie McElhinney of Lower Debert, Pearl Davis of Truro.
She was predeceased by her sisters Amy and Carolyn in infancy.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro from where visitation will take place on Monday, December 22nd from 12:00 pm until 1:45 pm followed by funeral service at 2:00 pm. with Rev. Carol Gillard officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Robie Street Cemetery, Truro. Donations in Dell’s memory may be made to the Erskine United Church, Glenholme or to a charity of choice.
