At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, December 20, 2014, of Joyce Mary Bacon of Charlottetown and formerly of St. Eleanor’s, P.E.I., and Bristol, England, aged 93 years.
Joyce was a longtime member of the Charlottetown IODE. Dear mother of Kathy Driscoll (Joe), Charlottetown, Christine Gallant (Clarence), Summerside; and Jane Murray (Eldon), Bedeque. Grandmother of Melissa Driscoll (Danny Roche), Michael Driscoll, Kerri Hambly (Rob), Jeff Bacon (Sarah), Barry Gallant (Melanie), Brenda Clarke (Greg), Darren Gallant (Heidi), Kevin Murray (Danette) and Debbie MacKay (Brad). Also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband, George (Max) Bacon; by her son, John Bacon (Sheila); and brother, Philip Griffey (Kaye), Bristol, England.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 pm. No visiting hours by family request.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Efforts for Emma (Nana’s favorite charity).
