SMITH, Barrie M. - 70 of Liverpool, Queens County passed away suddenly at home on Friday, December 19, 2014. Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Lester and Louise (Joudrey) Smith. Barrie worked as a maintenance custodian for the Queens County Museum for 10 years. He was a member of the Hollow Log Rifle and Pistol Club and Queens Archers and taught archery. He was an instructor for hunter safety courses for a number of years. He is survived by his sister Greta Titus of Liverpool and a number of nieces and nephews including his special niece, Kim (Don) Kook of Liverpool. He was predeceased by his brother Edward. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Zion United Cemetery, Payzant Street, Liverpool with Reverend Judy Cross officiating.
