Passed peacefully away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on Dec. 10, 2014, Effie Parrill of Bear Cove, in her 67th year. She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of memories her children Holly (Jim), Chris (Della) and Marjorie (Peter); grandchildren Thomas, Emily, Ramsey and Brooklyn; sister Laverne (Arthur) Genge; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Whyman Parrill, parents William and Marjorie Chambers, and parents-in-law Gilbert and Miriam Parrill. Visitation was held at St. Boniface Anglican Church in Bear Cove from where the funeral took place on Saturday, Dec 13 at 2 p.m. with Rev Irving Letto officiating. Interment followed in the Anglican Cemetery in Pines Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to K.M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
