Judith Cronk

CRONK, JUDITH LEANNE (SCAPLEN) - It is with broken hearts the family announces the passing of Judith Leanne (Scaplen) Cronk, on December 23, 2014 at the Oromocto Public Hospital following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Judy was the loving wife of the late Stephen Rivers Cronk of Aroostook, NB. They had resided in Saint John, NB for many years. She was the daughter of the late Lillian Edna (Sparks) and William Edward Scaplen. Judy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves to mourn her children, Heather Leanne Johnston (Glenn) of Cambridge, ON, Shelley Lynn Penney (Jim) of Burton, NB and Kriss Graeme Shrive (Jennifer) of Guelph, ON; stepchildren, Gregory Cronk (Cathy) and Carmen Adams (Ron), both of Saint John, NB, Erin Dyker (Adam), Michelle Gill (Neil Doucet), Michael Gill (Allison), and ex-husband and friend, Edward Gill of Oromocto, NB as well as several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, Graeme Edward Scaplen (Carmie) of Saint John, NB, mother-in-law, Bessie Cronk, brothers-in-law, Douglas Cronk (Michel), Ervan Cronk (Joanne Watts), James Cronk (Martine), Warren Cronk (Jeanne); sisters-in-law, Doreen Roach (Wayne), Linda Hoyt (Kendel), and Caroline Baird (Tom) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Apart from her beloved husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Scott Paul Shrive.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on December 27, 2014 at 11:00 am with The Rev. Dr. Perry Hanley officiating.
