At the Provincial Palliative Care Unit on Sunday, December 28, 2014 of John P.C "Jack" Hughes, Stratford, age 72 years.
Beloved husband of Margaret Hughes and father of Sherry Ann Birt (Steven), Kellie Hawes (Colin) and Jonathan (Christine). Loving Popa of Justin (Laura), Brandon, and Jordon Birt, Cole and Chloe Hawes, Hailey Hughes and great-grandson Jack Birt. Brother of Duncan (Betty), Edward, Pat (Roseanne), Bob (Lucretia), Rosemary Doucette (Ken) and Helen Hallett (Joe). Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., then to Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment later in Our Lady of the Assumption Church Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4-7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
