Gene Allison Bacon of Calgary passed away at Bowcrest Care Centre on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the age of 102 years.
Mum will be remembered by her son Keith of Calgary and daughter Donna Savard of Edmonton, grandchildren Kim (Jim), Shane, Trevor (Ursula), Stephen (Erin), great-grandchildren Kellen, Ethan, Alix, Colton, Anderson and Quinn of Calgary, sister-in-laws Mollie Allen and Leona Pedersen, brother-in-law Roger Bacon all of Amherst, NS and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Wendell, son-in-law Don Savard, sisters Louise and Beatrice and brothers Ray, Kenneth and Walton.
The family wishes to express our thanks to Dr. Heaton and the staff at Bowcrest for their care and kindness.
Gene has lived over a century of extraordinary change and remarkable historical events.
