Passed on: January 1, 2015. August 4, 1935 - January 1, 2015 of Placentia - Passed peacefully away, in the presence of her loving family. Predeceased by her husband John; parents Bernard and Bridget Greene; brother Donald; sister Gloria; brothers-in-law Donald Kearley, Tom Gale, and Leo Gale; sisters-in-law Theresa Greene, Nellie Dutton; and Eileen English. Left with loving memories her daughters Jackie (Richard Vaillancourt), Pamela (Fergus Hickey) and son John (Riza); grandsons John and Jeil; sisters Geraldine, Monica (John Taylor); brother Kenneth (Elsie); brothers-in-law Frank Maher, Charlie Gale (Mary), sisters-in-law Frances Greene, Mary Fewer, Theresa Gale, Anna Mahon (Ray) aunt Angela Bialek; also a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Sheila was a proud and loving mother and friend to many, making a positive and lasting impression on everyone she came in contact with. Diagnosed with multiple myloma in 2010, she spent her final months at the Lion's Manor and died of complications related to her illness. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia on Saturday, January 3rd from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM and Sunday, January 4th from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia on Monday, January 5th at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
