MORRISON, ROBERTA - Roberta Elyse Morrison, age 94, of Moncton, formerly of Murray Road and Sackville, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the age of 94. Born in Hansford, NS, she was a daughter of the late John and Florence (King) Morrison. Roberta graduated from Mount Allison University, then worked as a legal assistant in Toronto for 30 years. She returned to the Murray Road and taught Law at the Moncton Community College for a year. She later moved to Sackville and finally Moncton. Roberta enjoyed music, playing piano and singing. She always loved the company of her cats. She will be dearly missed by nieces and nephews, John (Edith) Weeks, Grasslands, AB, Ginny Lane (Dick Dawson), Riverview, NB, George (Sharon) Weeks, Oxford, NS, Doris Thompson (Carl Downey), Amherst, NS, Joni Phillips (Patrick Chambers), Cape Tormentine, NB, Richard (Chris) Morrison, Amherst, NS, Anna-Marie Morrison, Riverview, NB. She was predeceased by brothers Dan Morrison and John Morrison and sister Kathryn Weeks.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, Port Elgin, NB (506-538-2241). In keeping with Roberta's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
