Osinski, Carol Anne Osinski, age 67 of Eastend, Sk., passed away December 25, 2014 at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Ab. The Funeral Service was held at 1:30 pm Tuesday, December 30 from the Eastend Memorial Hall with Pastor Alex Allan officiating. The organist was Beth Lundsten. The Life Tribute was presented by Richard Nelles. The ushers were Dean Busse, Cam VanSandt, Colin Luke and Travis Armstrong. The pallbearers were Mike Koolen, Don Arendt, Bill Lewis, Greg Lundsten, Jack Ziegler and Lawrence Schmidt. The interment service took place at Eastend Riverside Cemetery. Carol is survived by her husband Richard of Eastend; son Clayton (Melissa) of Eastend and their children Burke and Mason; son Sheldon (Kelly) of Calgary and their children Saul and Autumn; brother Richard (June) Nelles of Seschelt, B.C. and brother Ron (Darlene) Nelubowich of Irvine, AB.; sister-in-law Lodga Osinski of Eastend, Sk. and sister-in-law Joanna Netsena of Medicine Hat, Ab. as well as several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Andy and Dorothy Nelubowich and inlaws Anton and Elizabeth Osinski. Carol was born in Havre, Montana on December 6, 1947. She attended school at Robsart and Consul. She was married to Richard Osinski on February 19, 1972. During her life, Carol worked as a bookkeeper for The International Hotel in Calgary, for a finance company in B.C. and was the co-owner of Rockyview Farms Ltd. in Eastend. She was a very active and prominent member of the community. Carol served on many boards including Treasurer of the Eastend Rink Complex, Chair of the Credit Union and a four year term as the Reeve of the R.M. of White Valley. Carol was such a social person. She loved spending time with friends and family in many ways. She and Richard travelled all over the globe. Their favorite place to visit was Hawaii and each summer they loved taking their family to Flathead Lake, MT. Carol loved cooking and was known for her elaborate dinner parties. She loved her yard and her beautiful flowers. Her house was always immaculate and friends and neighbors always felt welcome and comfortable in their home. Carol lived for her family. She had a wonderful marriage of 42 years with her husband Richard. She adored her sons and was so close with both of them and their wives. She absolutely cherished her three grandsons and granddaughter. Carol will be missed dearly. In her memory, memorial donations may be made to the Eastend Memorial Hall, 135 Oak N, Eastend, Sk.
