Joan Marion Webb, age 80, of Windsor, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014, at the Wolfville Nursing Home, Wolfville. Born in Hillaton, Kings County, Nova Scotia, on August 24, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Kenneth and Margaret Blanche (Clarke) DeEll. Mom was born on the family farm in Hillaton. She graduated from Mack’s Business College in Kentville in the early 50’s and moved to Halifax where she met her husband, Ronald, while working at William Robertson & Son and later Moirs Ltd. After moving to Windsor in 1972, she worked at Avon Valley Greenhouses as Payroll & Personnel Manager for over 15 years. She was a Mary Kay consultant for ten years making many new friends and attending many conventions during these years. Mom loved working with people, she was a HUGE bingo fan and loved spending a lot of time at the cottage at Canoe Lake with family and friends. She was an avid scrapbooker, completing many albums for her family to enjoy. She is survived by her children, Lynne (Ryan) Allen, Melanson; Michael (Sylvia) Webb, Brooklyn and children Holly and Heidi; Daphne (Robert) O’Neil, Cambridge, Ontario; Craig (Darlene) Webb, Fort McMurray, Alberta; Christopher (Tracey) Webb, Falmouth and children Lindsay and Benjamin; Paul (Ashley) Webb, Brooklyn and children Brandon, Nathaniel and Joshua; great-grandsons, Bryson and Hunter Webb; also twelve step-grandchildren; sisters, Winnifred Benjamin, Berwick; Louise (Elroy) MacQuarrie, Falmouth; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Ronald Patrick Webb (2009); brother, Bryce DeEll; sister, Erlene Wynn. No visitation by her request. Arrangementswere under the care of Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, B0N 2T0. Funeral was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014, in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 339 King Street, Windsor. The Rev. Father John MacPherson officiated. Interment was in St. John’s Parish Cemetery, Wiley Avenue, Windsor, followed by a reception at the Lindsay Family Reception Centre.
