Elizabeth Anne Rice passed away peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, January 3, 2015, age 63 years.
Liz is survived by her brother, Edward; nephews, John, Robbie Jason, Robert; niece, Ellen; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Daniel Louis and Mary Margaret (McMillan) Rice, and her beloved brother, Robert.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Dunstan's Basilica on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 10 a.m. A private interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. By request there will be no visiting hours. Following the Mass family and friends are invited to gather at the Georgian Room of the Charlottetown Hotel for a reception.
Family flowers only. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rice Family Trust at Hospice P.E.I. or the P.E.I. Humane Society.
Completion of arrangements has been entrusted to the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home.
