GIRVAN, RONALD - 1922 - 2015 - Ronald Girvan, passed away peacefully at Pro Tem Health Services on January 6, 2015, at the age of 92. Born in Rexton, NB, he was the son of the late Robert and Maude Girvan. Ronald is survived by Dorothy, his loving wife of 66 years, Children; Rhonda (late David), Myron (Muriel), Sheila (John) and Peggy (Joe), six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Ronald was predeceased by his brothers; Duncan, Stuart, Mac, Murray, and Gordon. Ronald was avid golfer and was a longtime member of The Moncton Golf and Country Club, He was a World War II Veteran having served in the Royal Air Force earning a Distinguished Flying Cross.
A memorial service celebrating Ronald’s life will be held in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Saturday, January 10, 2015 with visitation held from 1:00 pm until time of service. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Pro Tem Health Service for their exceptional care and compassion. Interment will be at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
