STEPHENS, RICHARD CHARLES - December 10, 1956 -January 6, 2015 - It is with great sadness that the family of Richard Stephens, announce the sudden passing of their loving father and grandfather, on Tuesday, January 6th, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Richard was 58 years of age. Born in Sackville, N.B. on December 10, 1956, he was the son of the late Phyllis (Buck) and Hugh Stephens. Richard enjoyed going for drives, walks and loved sports, especially football and the New England Patriots. He was very proud of his family and cherished the time he could spend with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Richard will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Richard will be lovingly remembered by his children, Dawn Stephens (Erika), Amanda (Robert John) Postma, Joey Stephens (Amanda), Mark Stephens and James Stephens; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Richard was predeceased by his four brothers and by his common-law wife, Linda.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Richard’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Campbell’s Funeral Home on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 2 pm at Campbell’s Funeral Home. The service will be conducted by the Minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses, David Johnson.
