It is with heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Olga Hansen on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the age of 83. Olga was born on March 17, 1931 in Foam Lake, SK to Wasyl and Anne Monych. She was the youngest and last surviving sibling of twelve brothers and sisters. Olga worked hard all her life and was well known for her cooking, especially her perogies and cabbage rolls. Her kindness, quick wit and sense of humour will be greatly missed. Olga is survived by her husband Jens, children: Sharon (Marv Merkel), Bev (Yogi Arnold), Karon (Mitch Bozak), Dale Polonich (Gail), Terry Hansen (Keitha); grandchildren: Kim (Terry), Kevin, Chris, Keri (Brad), Shawn, Stacey, Scott (Trista), Justin, Tyler (Molly), and Emily. Great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Kaedyn, Tryton, Tylan and Hendrix. Step-daughter Kathy (Jim). A Private Family service will be held.
