MITCHELL, JOYCE - 1937 - 2015 - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Mitchell at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Monday, January 5, 2015. Born in Moncton, she was a daughter of the late Reuben and Annie (MacFarlane) Buck. Joyce worked for 35 years at the Times & Transcript. She will be sadly missed by five brothers Donald (Annie), Raymond (Gweneth), Ken (Anne), Aubrey (Ruth), Eldon (Barbara), one half sister Carolyn (Paul) Wilson as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Joyce was predeceased by two sisters Dorothy Sawyer and Marion Coates as well as two brothers, Everett Buck and Harold Buck.
A memorial service will be held at the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm followed by interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Remembrances in Joyce`s memory may be made to the charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted with Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton.
