GAUVIN, LEOLINE - 1930 - 2015 - Leoline Gauvin, 84, of Villa du Repos, Moncton and formerly of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Thursday January 8th, 2015, at her residence. Born in Fox Creek, NB, she was the daughter of the late Camille and the late Leonie (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Prior to becoming a stay at home “Mom”, Mrs. Gauvin worked as a seamstress at Creighan’s. She was a former member of the Club d’Age d’Or and Saint-Anselme parish. She is survived by her husband, Norman; two daughters: Gisele (Daniel) Christie of Dieppe and Denise (David) Saunders of Charlottetown, PE; seven sons: Louis (Louise) of Moncton, Guy (Monique) of Moncton, Roland (Nancy) of Dieppe, Rene (Line) of Memramcook, Charles of Dieppe, Denis (Christine) of Dieppe and Jerome (Annie) of Dieppe; three sisters: Berthe (late Philippe) Cormier of Moose Jaw SK, Dolores (late Greg) D’Nelly of Santa Monica, CA and Norma (Gerard) Bourgeois of Dieppe; one brother, Eugene (Jacqueline) LeBlanc of Moncton; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, as well as the several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901) on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Celebration of the Word will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Tuesday, January 13th, 2015 at 10: 30 am. Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe, NB. Donations to the family in support of Cedric or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
