STEEVES, MARJORIE JOYCE - Marjorie Joyce Steeves, 78, of Petitcodiac, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on January 6, 2015. Born in Petitcodiac, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Bessie (nee Ferguson) Murree. Marjorie is survived by her sons: Terrance (Lori) and Gregory (Julia), all of Petitcodiac, Christopher of Kamloops, BC, and Douglas of Toronto, ON; her sister Eleanor MacKenzie of Moncton; her grandchildren: Jamie (Christina Rose) of Mount Pearl, NF, Erica of Leduc, AB, Tracy Arsenault (Calvin) of Petitcodiac, Krista (Kalen Darrell) of Oromocto and Katelyn of Moncton; her great-grandchildren: Aidyn, Ava, and Mason; as well as by extended family members and friends. Besides her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Gerald, her son Jeffrey, and her sisters: Pauline Reeder, Gertrude Crossman, and Evelyn Carter, and her infant brother Clifford.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Armstrong’s Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac, from where visitation will be held on Sunday January 11, 2015 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm, and from where her funeral service will be held on Monday January 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Keith Adams presiding. Interment will be held in the Maplewood Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
