The death occurred peacefully at Kings County Memorial Hospital on January 9, 2015 of Florence M. Garrett (nee Acorn) of Clay Rd., Forest Hill, in her 90th year.
Beloved wife of the late Neil Campbell Garrett.
Dear mother of Kathern Garrett (Charlie Blaisdell) of Charlottetown; Arthur (Sheila) Garrett of Bridgetown; Jack (Shirley) Garrett of Forest Hill; Valerie (David) Garrett of Forest Hill; and son-in-law, Kenneth MacDonald of Montague. Florence is also fondly remembered by her 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Eldon (Linda) Acorn.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Marjorie (Garrett) MacDonald; sisters, Belle Acorn, Ella Mae Downe; and brothers, John Acorn, Lyman Acorn and Raymond Acorn.
Resting at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow next to her husband, Neil, at the Old Dundas Acorn Cemetery. Visiting hours on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m.
