Our family is sad to announce the loss of our husband, dad, grandfather, great grandfather John B. “Jack” Lloyd on January 8, 2015. Jack was born in Carnduff, SK on August 23, 1924. Jack began his career in business at the age of 17 at the Imperial Bank and ended his career retiring from Norcanair in 1985 as President/GM. Most important to Jack was his family; his wife of 62 years, Fern; his three children Brenda (Tom) Brothwell & their children Heather (Derek) Rhodes & their children Harper & Madelyne; Kim (Sean) Briegel; Shannon (Brody) Bautz; Lindsay (Raymond) Kenney; Don (Vivian) Lloyd & their children Joel (Ashley) & their children Maya and Hudson Jack Lloyd; Travis and great grandson Jaxon Lloyd; Shawn; Jan (Glen) Vossen & their children Meghan, Michael and Daniel. Jack is also survived by his devoted sister Donna (late Hugh) Craig; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and his Norcanair family. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Pearl Lloyd; his sisters Ouida, Edyth and Lenna. Jack was a lifetime member of many community organizations and was inducted into the Aviation Hall of Fame. Jack was a gentleman and a gentle man. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2015 at Wesley United Church, 65 – 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Tony Thompson officiating. Private Family Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Wesley United Church or to a Charity of Donor’s Choice.
