Passed peacefully away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on Dec. 31, 2014, Mr. Lambert Mitchelmore of Green Island Cove in his 78th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Mamie Ellen; children Brenda (Loomis), Scott (Janette), Sidney (Gail), Kirby (Velda) and Ruby (Randy); grandchildren Monty (Denise), Ryan (Judy), Holly, Dylan, Katie, Kianna, Colton, Nicholas, Shannon and Alyson; great-grandchildren Cody, Leya, Reid and Emma; sister Martha Jane Parrill; sister-in-law Rhoda Mitchelmore, as well as close friends and family. He was predeceased by parents William and Ruth Mitchelmore, brothers Clyde, Douglas, Sidney, and George William, sister Violet White and nephew Clyde Mitchelmore Jr. Visitation took place at St. Andrews Anglican Church in Lower Cove from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 2 with Re. Marlene Harvey officiating. Interment followed in the Anglican Cemetery in Green Island Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
