It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Diann Spurrell (nee Tulk) on January 8th, 2015 at St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario. Her memory will be cherished by first husband Harold, daughter Beverley Anne (Wayne). Proud grandmother of Shevonne and Fallon, survived by sisters Ramona, Pat, Betty (Al), Sharon, Velma, Beverley (Bill), brothers Max (Diane) and Ronald (Florence), predeceased by sister Louise and brother-in-laws Charlie, Lawrence, Marv and nephew Robert. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to the staff at St. Peter’s for their exceptional care and compassion. Cremation has taken place a memorial service will be held at St. Peter’s Hospital Thursday January 22nd at 2 p.m. A private family service will be held in Pasadena, Newfoundland at a later date.
Diann will be remembered for her selfless passion for cooking, filling the hearts and bellies of loved ones and strangers alike a thousand times over. Until we see you again.
