It is with great sadness that the family of the late Irene Phyllis Gosney announce her passing on Sunday, January 11th, 2015 at the Western Memorial Hospital in her 80th year, She will be sadly missed by her loving family, children Butch (Leona), Sharon, Gordon (Liz), and Nancy. Grandchildren, Dawn, Bert, Kevin, Joni, Kody, Rebecca, Clinton, Kieth and Josie. Great-grandchildren Riley, Austin, Ethan, Jessie, Emily, Liam, Morgan, Maverick, Mason, Brayden, Maleah and Ava.Her siblings Robert Neilson, Cameron Neilson, Shirley Neilson, Gordon (Sandra) Neilson. Her in-laws Peggy (Walt) King, Mit (Ruby) Goosney, Laura Goosney, Betty (Ned) Critch, Barbara (Ron) Hart and Brian (Edna). Also a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Bert, parents Alex & Phyllis Neilson, parents-in-law Bert & Violet Goosney, brothers Billy and Danny, sister Linda, Brother-and sister-in-law Ada & Frank Goosney and Harvey Goosney. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street Deer Lake on Tuesday, January 13th,2015, from 7-9pm. Wednesday, January 14th, 2015, 2-4 and 7-9pm. where also funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 15th, 2015, at 11:00 am with Rev. Miles Vardy officiating. Burial to follow.
