GARLAND, HELEN - Helen Garland of Moncton passed away peacefully at Forest Dale Nursing Home on January 9, 2015 at the age of 78. Born in Church’s Corner, NB, January 21, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mabel (Bannister) Garland. Helen is survived by her sister Geraldine Garland, cousins; Gerald (Margaret) and Tracy McCully, David Martin, Darrell Martin and Kimberly. She will also be missed by her friends, including The Coneen Family. Helen began her career at Eatons and worked for UAP Napa for 31 years, until her retirement in 2008, she loved gardening, traveling and getting together with friends.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 12:30 to 2:00pm. A funeral service will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Helen’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
