TOWERS, JOHN PETER - Gone too soon, the family of John Towers sadly announce his death which occurred on January 13, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Toronto, Ontario on February 22, 1951, he was the son of the late Jack and Jennie Towers. John is survived by his wife, Janet; his children Jonathan of Keswick, ON and Jenn of Saint John, NB; and his grandchildren, Ethan and Saige. Besides his parents, he is also predeceased by his sister Jenna and daughter-in-law, Nicole. The family would like to thank the 6th and 8th floor staff at St. Joseph’s hospital for the wonderful care given to John during his stay.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 2pm from Brenan’s Chapel. For those who wish, remembrances can be made to the Y Strong Kids Fund or the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation.
