VIRGIN, LINA - Lina Marie (Arsenault) Virgin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born July 17, 1930 in Dalhousie, NB she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Obeline (Richard) Arsenault. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband John Virgin. Lina was an active participant of Kings Valley Wesleyan Church, especially in the prayer ministry. Lina is survived by her loving children Diana Sedlacek, Gary Vergen (Christine) of Calgary, AB, Gail Virgin (Jeffrey Hillier) of Saint John, Kevin Kane of Toronto and Karen Breen (Arthur) of Fort McMurray, AB; brothers Emile Arsenault (Delia) of Moncton, France Arsenault (Fernande) of Rogersville, Louis Arsenault (Cindy) of Moncton, Roger Arsenault of Rogersville and Robert Arsenault (Ginette) of Moncton; sisters Jeannine Wilcox of Moncton, Annette Flewelling (James) of Campbell River, BC, Shirley Turnbull (Robert) of Mississauga, ON, Diane Arsenault of Moncton and Gloria Odette (Michel) of Moncton; sisters-in-law Vivian McLennan of Saint John and Shirley Simpson (Don) of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren Jesse (Kim), Chelsea (Jeremy), Jeremy, Kaela, Kendra and Sophia; great-grandchildren Ethan, Jasper, Cole, Liv and Briar; many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitations will be held from Kings Valley Wesleyan Church, 332 Hampton Road, Quispamsis, on Friday, January 16 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the church on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. followed by a reception. The interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances in memory of Lina may be made to Kings Valley Wesleyan Church or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
