Lloyd Daniel DeCoste, 67, of Trafalgar, formerly of Westville, and New Glasgow, passed away suddenly on Monday evening, January 12, 2015 at his home.

Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Victor and Mary (Avery) DeCoste.

Lloyd was an avid outdoors man, who loved to sport fish , hunt, and going to the camp with the boys. Lloyd liked hockey and music, especially listening to his grandson’s music.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Trudy (Copp); daughter, Susan Oliver (Doug); sons, Joe (Fran), and Lloyd (Debbie), all of Westville; grandchildren, Victoria and Alexandra Oliver; Robert DeCoste; Corey DeCoste and George Fraser DeCoste; brothers, Clarence (Faye), Joe (Judy), and Parker (Pat); mother-in-law Gertie Copp; and brother-in-law Bryce Copp (Gail).

He was predeceased by his sister Velma MacPherson.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitations. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating.
