Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, NL, on Monday, January 05th, 2015, NICHOLAS HOOPER of Creston South, in his 87th year. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 54 years, Mavis, daughter Doreen Murphy (Paul), St. John’s, 2 grandchildren Brandon and Vanessa, sister Rita Wiscombe (Gary), Pasadena, brother in law Sam Cleal (Carol), Creston South, nieces and nephews, and a large circle of relatives and friends.

Nicholas is predeceased by his parents James and Caroline Hodder, Step mother Adelaide Hooper, Parents in law Samuel and Muriel Cleal, and step mother in law Selina.

Rev. Gloria Wendover conducted the Funeral Service at St. Michael’s Anglican Church, Creston South, on Friday, January 09th, 2015; at 10:00 am. Interment was at the Anglican Church Cemetery in Creston South, NL.

Donations in Nicholas’s memory may be made to the St. Michael’s Anglican Church Cemetery Fund, Creston South, NL.

Pallbearers were James Hooper, Wayne Cleal, Walter Clarke, Sam Cleal, Reuben Rogers, and Harvey Clarke.
