It is with heavy & saddened hearts that we say goodbye to our Dad, Leo Kelly, who passed away peacefully at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Tuesday, January 13th, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Eldest son born to Richard & Florence (Stuckless) Kelly, November 2nd, 1930 in Howley. Leaving to mourn his wife Loretta (Gillard) of almost 61 years. son; Jerry, of St.John's, NL, daughters; Judy Ann (Derek) Murphy, Norma (Ken) Power, both of Howley, & Nora (Kevin) Barrett of Grande Prairie, his grandchildren; Brian & Brad Kelly, Jeremy Kelly, Kelsey & Kelly Power, Braylan & MacKinnon Barrett, Tim Hayward (Sheri), & Courtney Murphy, great grandchildren; Chole & Megan Hayward, Brooke & Jade Newhook, & Cole Naylor, his brother; Ralph, & sister; Theresa both of Howley, sister-in-laws; Geraldine Flemming of Ontario, Sharon (Gordon) King of Brigus, & Diane (Gerald) McLean of Howley, his special caregiver Margaret Hampton, his guardian angel who has become a member of our family, his past caregiver Linda Curtis, who continued to visit him regularly in the Hospital, Leo was predeceased by his father; Richard Kelly in 1968, mother; Florence in 2003, brother; Bernard in 2003, mother-in-law; Eliza Gillard in 2003, father-in-law; Reginald Gillard in 1984, brother-in-laws; William Byrne in 1997, & Charlie Flemming, & sister-in-law; Nora Kay Kelly in 2014. The family will be receiving family and friends from The Church of The Ascension in Howley, NL, on Thursday, January 15th, 2015, from the hours of 7-9 pm, & continuing on Friday, January 16th, 2015,m from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place from on Saturday, January 17th, 2015, at 2: pm, with Father: Gabriel officiating with the burial to follow at the United Church cemetery in Howley, NL.
