Geraldine Anderson

ANDERSON, GERALDINE ALLISON - It is with deep sadness that the family of Geraldine Anderson announces her passing on Tuesday, January 13th, 2015 at White Rapids Manor, Fredericton Junction. Born in Saint John on April 15th, 1927, she was the daughter of the late James G. and Margaret E. (Campbell) Moore. As a proud West Sider and a lifetime member of St. George’s Anglican Church, she often reminisced of the time she spent working at Meisner’s Grocery and what life was like growing up on Duke Street on the West Side. She also remembered with great fondness the happy times she spent working at Reggie’s Restaurant on Germain Street where she made many friends. She is survived by her daughter Wendy Archibald (Douglas) of New Maryland, and her cherished grandchildren Allison and Adam. She was extremely proud of them and never hesitated to speak of their many accomplishments. Geraldine is also survived by her sister Colleen Butland (late Reginald) of Saint John, her brother Malcolm Moore (late Barbara) of Dartmouth, several nieces and nephews and the beloved Archibald family Golden Retriever, Kacy, who went to visit her each week. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Roy A. Anderson, sisters Madeline MacFarlane and Grendline Connolly.
