4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Gander formerly of Witless Bay. Passed peacefully away into the arms of His Heavenly Father on January 14, 2015, (age 88). Predeceased by his parents Christopher & Mary White, brothers, Michael, Philip (Beulah) and Francis, brother in law, Patrick Vickers. Left to celebrate his life: sister Florence, Goose Bay, brother Vince, Fredericton, NB, Caregiver (niece) Jackie White who took care of his many needs, and many nieces and nephews. Special friends from Gander: Debbie Watts, Roy Follett, Agnes Joy, Madonna Ryan, Mary O'Rielly, Father Keith Morrison, Presentation Sisters, and parishioners of St. Joseph's Church, Gander. Many thanks to Fr. Leo English for your spiritual guidance over the past couple of years. Special thanks to the Staff of 2 South at St. Patrick's Mercy Home for their excellent care. In October 2003, he received the Diocesan Medal for 40 years dedication of volunteer service to St. Joseph's Church, Gander presented by Archbishop Martin Currie. He lived his life in service and was always grateful for his deep faith and devotion to Jesus & Mary. Visitation to take place at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Thursday January 15 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and on Friday January 16 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place from St. Teresa's Parish of Friday January 16th at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Witless Bay. Donations in Harold's memory can be made to the parish of one's choice.
