It is with great sadness that the family of the late Beatrice Barry announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility on Wednesday January 14, 2015 at the age of 78 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter Jackie (Joe) Walsh of St. John’s; sons: Calvin (Cathy) of St. John’s, Terry (Bernadette) of St. John’s, Timothy (Donna) of Bonne Bay Pond, Kenneth (Holly) of Corner Brook; grandchildren: Angela, Geoffrey, Gregory, Matthew, Justin, Kayla, Wayne, Kathleen, Heather, Christine, Terri Walsh; great grandchildren: Luke, Alex, Teagan, Gabby, Hannah, Emma, Sundara, Jordan, Hailey, Madison; brother John (Linda) Dennis of Corner Brook; sisters: Stella (Bruce) Colbourne of Corner Brook, Mabel (Grenville) Murley of Ontario, also a number of nieces, nephews other relatives, friends and the members of the Royal Canadian Legion in which she was a recipient of a 20 year pin. She was predeceased by her parents John and Bessie Dennis. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday January 17, 2015 from the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Main Street at 10:30 a.m. officiated by The Very Reverend Baxter Park with interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in Beatrice’ memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society.
