PORTER, ADA MAE - The death of Ada Mae Porter of Rocmaura Nursing home occurred at her residence on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Ada was the wife of the late Donald Porter. She was born in Saint John on April, 1917, the daughter of the late Charles and Mae (Bryson) Noddin. Ada was predeceased by four brothers. She is survived by her son, Charles (Louise) Craig and her daughter, Elaine Whipple; four grandchildren Justin (Amanda), Julie (Nick), Bradley and Sean; four great-grandchildren Jackson, Gabriella, Grace and Robin.
By Ada’s request there will be no funeral service, however friends and relatives are welcome to visit at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) on Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm. Interment will take place at Fernhill cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
