Sawchuk, Anna Josephine

Beloved wife, mother, gramma, great-gramma and friend to many, Anna Sawchuk passed away peacefully on January 16, 2015. Anna was predeceased by her lifelong partner Harold and other very special relatives and friends. She will be fondly remembered by her children: Debbie, Jeff (Sue), Mike (Kathy), and Kathy (Todd); her cherished grandchildren Rhonda (Jeremy), Dustin, Kyle, Riley, Stephen, Laura; and great-grandchildren Tai Lin, Kayah, and Jonas. Anna shared her life with her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and will be sadly missed by all of her family.

Anna took early retirement from Public Works in Winnipeg to relocate back to Moose Jaw with her loving husband Harry.

Anna loved learning new things, she enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardening and bowling. She touched so many people in her life with her wisdom, compassion and curiosity. Her strength of character, endless hope and humour will always be remembered by those close to her.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. In keeping with Anna’s wishes no funeral service will be held.

Thank you to the caregivers, friends and relatives who supported Anna and kept her spirits up in her final days.
