It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rachel Rita Payne announce her passing on Thursday, January 15th, 2015, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Pallative Care Unit in Corner Brook, NL, at the age of 71 years. She was surrounded by her loving family. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons; Scott (Delia), John (Jocelyn), & Ralph (Judy), daughters; Jean (Damon), & Shelley (Craig), son-in-law; Cyril Smith, her grandchildren; Robbie (Heather), Jamie (Sonya), Susan (Wally), John (Dayna), Jessica (Steve), Tim (Caroline), Adrianna, Jack, Brent (Tiffany), & Greg, her great grandchildren; Cameron, Summer, Seth, Lucas, Courtney, Emma, James, Madison, Moira, Rowan, Nicholas, & Alex, her brothers & sisters; Violet Hewlin, Harold (Marjorie), Adrian (Carol), Hughena (Con) Brown, Thelma (Bill), Kassis, special nephew / brother; Melvin (Rose Marie), special niece / sister; Janice (Stu) Gallagher, her sister-in-laws; Elsie Payne, Leah Knott, Bertha Payne, Gwen Payne, & Elizabeth Payne, his brother-in-law; Manuel Payne, mother was predeceased by her husband; Freeman, daughter; Anne, son; Adrian, her parents; Jack & Lucy Payne, her sisters; Ula Stuckless, & Bride Payne, her brother-in-laws; George Hewlin, George Stuckless, Leslie Payne, Obediah Payne, Ellis Payne, Reg Payne, Bryant Payne, Rex Knott, Gorman Payne, Jack Parsons, & Reg Roberts, sister-in-laws; Hazel Parsons, Judy Payne, Myra Payne, & Hilda Roberts, she also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family & friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Mary's Anglican Church in Cow Head, NL, Saturday, January 17th, 2015, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Sunday, January 18th, 2015, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Monday, January 19th, 2015, at 2:pm with Rev: Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the Church Cemetery in Cow Head, NL.
