Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital January 16, 2015 Gladys Ada Jones, age 92 years. Pre-deceased by her husband Henry in 1972. Gladys was a beautiful lady and was kind to everyone she knew. She enjoyed the simple things in life and never complained about anything. She was very active and living in her own home. She was an angel on earth and she is now an angel in heaven. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Leaving to morn her daughter, Carol Woodbury (Don); sons: Richard, David and Henry Jr. (Joanne); granddaughters: Anne and Melanie; sister, Gwen; also a small circle of family and friends and a close and dear friend Joan Laite. The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff of 7 west for their wonderful care, kindness and compassion over the last six weeks. There will be a visitation at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Tuesday, January 20th, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. with a service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the CNIB or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
