The death occurred peacefully in Summeride, P.E.I., on Sunday, January 18, 2015, of Allan Ferguson MacLeod of St. Eleanors.
Born in Murray River, P.E.I., on October 24, 1938, to his late parents, William F. and Marie (nee Ferguson) MacLeod. He was a member of RCAF for 36 years and a member of the St. Eleanors Lions Club.
He leaves to mourn his wife of 50 years, Peggy (nee Johnson) MacLeod, and daughters, Susan of Ottawa and Martha of Summerside. Survived by his sisters-in-law, Edythe MacLeod, Sally MacEachern and Barb Johnson and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Allan was predeceased by his brothers, Lowell and Kenneth; sisters, Lela (Lloyd) Tuttle and Zelda (Noel) MacNevin; brothers-in-law, Phillip MacEachern and Sonny Johnson.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Memorial donations in Allan's memory to the Murray River United Church Cemetery, Murray River, would be greatly appreciated.
