PICKARD, LARRY LEROY - Larry L. Pickard of Nackawic, NB passed away peacefully on January 19, 2015 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Larry was born at Pokiok, NB in 1945, a son of the late Abraham (Bud) and Dorothy (MacFarlane) Pickard. He is survived by his children, Jeff Pickard (Kristy), Maplewood, NB and Trina Myshrall (Brian), Hawkins Corner, NB; four grandchildren, Zachary, Devon, Jennifer (Korbin) and Michael; a sister, Priscilla Stairs (Howard), Lincoln, NB; aunts, Ida Carson (Paul), Gladys MacFarlane, Kathleen Pickard; Alice MacFarlane, Maudie MacFarlane and Flossie MacFarlane; a special friend, Mac DeLong (Gayle); the mother of his children, Myrtle Liston; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an infant sister, Elizabeth Ann.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 2 pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Rhyno officiating. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Interment will be later at Otis Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Larry, the family has suggested the Louise Breau Memorial Medical Trust Fund or the Otis Cemetery.
