December 7, 1938 - January 20, 2015 - Passed peacefully away at Saint Luke's Home on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the age of 76, Bernard Patrick Manning (Ben). Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Emma Manning, and sisters Bridget and Clara. Leaving to mourn, his wife and best friend of 46 years Doreen (nee Beresford); sons Bernard (Fiona), Michael (Margo) and David (Nicole); precious grandsons Finley and Oliver; sister Joan Best; brothers Pat (Bernadette), Val (Rosanne) and Vince (Helen); special uncle William Jarvis and his in-laws the Beresford Clan - Pat (Beth), Kevin (Lillian), Frank (Brenda), Len (Phyllis), Margaret Skinner, Phyllis Hefferton, Geri (Ian Graham), Mike (Sheila), Jerome (Tammy) and Gary. As well, a large circle of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff of Pleasantview Terrace and Saint Luke's Home, for their love, care and support to Ben and his family. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made to Saint Luke's Home or the Alzheimer's Society.
